Luk Heung Commons is a 30-month culture-led placemaking project starting in 2026 at Luk Heung Campus, Tai Po. Funded by ZeShan Foundation, the project is delivered through a strategic collaboration between Happy Ageing Lab Foundation (HALF) and Evangelical Lutheran Church Social Service – Hong Kong (ELCSS-HK). The project aims to transform the existing Luk Heung Campus into Luk Heung Commons, a community hub that connects people, builds community capacity, and promotes well-being through creative, participatory means. Luk Heung Commons will serve as a collaborative platform for creative community-based practices to develop capacity and resources in the community for promoting positive neighbourhood transformation. This project represents the coming to life of a long-held vision: a physical and social space where residents can meet, create, share resources, and weave resilient bonds of mutual support and care.
